On his death bed a man finds himself in a self created purgatory. Offered the choise between finally accepting that he has been dying for a long time, or to deny this fact on last time. The film deals with theme's like, denial, existensialism, loss and ultimately, acceptance.

In the summer of 2023 my grandmother learned that she was suffering from ALS (Louis Gherigs disease). A sickness which sadly took her life in 2024. During one of the hospital visits she found out that her type of ALS was genetic and could've been passed on to my father, and in turn onto me. The uncertainty that came with knowing the fact, that you might have a disease which greatly shortens your life and in such a way that destroys all the things what make you human. Had a great impact on me. This uncertainty is what I sought to capture in this project.
